Reboot

WTF? No posts since last Sept? That can't be right can it? Ok, so a lot has happened and obviously it wasn't worth writing about... Anyways you've probably been catching up with us on FB since we left Canada in December.

And now... here we are in Madrid, coming up on two weeks actually. The kids have been to school, but only for a few days as they have now broken up for Easter. They'll restart in the final term of the year next week. We have personalised our apartment a little and that's helped make us feel a little more at home. Jo hasn't found any tennis yet but I'm sure that's just a matter of time. This whole thing is very different for us, language gaps, cultural differences, apartment living, no car... that's just the tip of the iceberg. But things are improving and we all still have our happy faces. We are off to Rioja (pronounced 'rio - ha') for easter, it's in the north of Spain, part of the Basque region. A Spanish colleague has a house in a village up there and invited us for a few days. So we have rented a car and will drive up there on Friday.

Anyways, just a quick one to get me back in the swing, expect more frequent updates from now on. Oh and we have taken a few photos, so expect Flickr to get an update shortly.
